Europe’s First Grand Hotel

Established in 1865 as Europe’s first ‘Grand Hotel’, The Langham was opened by HRH Prince of Wales. A grade II listed building, the hotel features 19th century architecture and details. The Langham has been witness to some incredible moments in history, including royal romances, visits from iconic political figures and writing from literary legends and film characters. From Oscar Wilde to Sir Winston Churchill, The Langham has been home to individuals that continue to inspires us to this day.
